These jolly spectres have been spotted haunting the colleges every December since the 1850s, spreading unexpected seasonal cheer with their jaunty, festive colours. Unlike their more serious spectral companions in the Rutland, these ghosts only appear to spread their infectious cheer at Yuletide, helping folk them find the perfect Christmas pudding recipe or remind them where they left the decorations. Legend has it they were college servants who loved Christmas so much that even death couldn't stop them from joining in the festivities.
